Signs!!
Have I suddenly become a big time believer of signs?? Or was I always? And just didn’t realize I was….
I have started to believe and accept that life is all about coincidences… whether good or bad, it is so…
I can almost most affirmatively say so at this point in time….
I remember thinking about coincidences as mere superstitious beliefs before actually looking at them as signs..
Mom and dad always say “all that happens, happens for good”.. Yet another person always says “Everything happens for a reason”…I believed or rather believe ”I find the meaning to many incidences long after they actually took place…n these meanings justify or give me the significance of the incidences”…So are all these signs that I have to believe in signs…to believe nothing happens “just like that”… nothing is just “a mere coincidence”..
So when did I start looking at signs..as signs..?? I recently read this amazing book “THE ALCHEMIST” by Paulo Coelho. which talks about signs.. Believe me this is the only book I ve read with the same enthusiasm right from page 1 till the end.. It changed my life!! it really did.. I mean my attitude towards life..
I have always been a person who hasn’t had a great affliction for books.. my exposure to reading has been limited is what I mean.. N then all of a sudden I realize that I am not able to stop reading a book!!!
Talking of signs.. I believe in timing…like I think of my mom n the phones ringing, its her saying.."just called to say a hi"… Cook something my uncle likes n he sends me an email… Think of my friend’s prank n she appears online…the list can go on…n then I become close to this person…n he receives a gift from his friend…he likes a book n then suggests that I read it…I get the book n find it so so interesting…
Y should all this happen? Y should I talk to someone after so long…Y should he get this particular book as a gift? Y should he suggest that I read it? Y should this book talk of signs? N y would I decide to take this book seriously n read it?
So isn’t this a sign that I have to believe in signs…….????

Hey Sudeepa, happen to go through ur log... I liked it.. keep it up.. I always wanted to do something like this but... u know... time... or may be thats not a good excuse.. however i do photo-blog... anywas.. keep it up.. I will read Alchemist for sure..

Alchemist is not only about signs. It is about belief and also about positive thinking. It is about conviction and desire. So yes, signs are there but I feel that these "signs" are not something in particular but anything that makes u feel positive about ur actions.

hey i just happened to visit ur blog... i cudnt stop myself from commenting when i read abt Alchemist which happens to b my favorite book as well.. its an amazing book... i too had similar feelings as urs when i read it for the 1st time around 3 years ago...yes u r right many things come off well if u follow omens :)
